Ashley Hooker is the founder and lead provider at Performance Hormone Health. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she helps men and women get their energy, balance, confidence, and even their sex lives back through personalized hormone replacement therapy.
Ashley doesn’t do cookie-cutter care. Every plan is built around your labs, your symptoms, and your goals because no two patients are the same. She’s down to earth, easy to talk to, and makes sure you actually understand what’s happening with your body instead of burying you in medical jargon.
Her approach goes beyond prescriptions. Ashley looks at the whole picture including hormones, nutrition, stress, sleep, and lifestyle, and builds strategies that actually work in real life. Patients count on her for honest guidance, practical solutions, and results that ripple through every part of their health from mood and energy to performance and intimacy.
Ashley lives in Winston-Salem with her husband, Zach, and their two daughters. Outside the clinic, she’s usually with family, outdoors, or connecting with the local wellness community.

Zachary Hooker is the office manager at Performance Hormone Health and the one making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes. A U.S. Navy Special Warfare veteran, Zach knows what it takes to push the limits both mentally and physically—and he brings that same no-nonsense discipline into the clinic. He works closely with providers to streamline processes, coordinate appointments, and ensure that every patient feels supported from their first call to ongoing care.
Beyond running daily operations, Zach spends time guiding men who want to build strength, confidence, and a physique they can be proud of. Having served in one of the most demanding special operations communities in the world, he knows firsthand what it means to be strong and how to help other men reach that same standard.
Zach also owns Performance Nutrition, Winston-Salem’s go-to supplement store, where he connects the community with products that actually deliver results. He and his wife, Ashley, live locally with their two beautiful daughters, balancing family life with their drive to build businesses that make an impact.
